About "Imagine the Year 2036: FORWARD THINKING IGNITE IMAGINATION"
The hundredth anniversary of Ricoh's founding: A.D. 2036. A time when IT will be even more advanced than it is today and when we will see robots bustling around during our everyday lives—how will the environment in which we work have changed by then?
In this project, we had a variety of cutting-edge creators who explore the future in their works—including novelists, comic book artists, animators, and game designers—envision the ways in which people will work in the year 2036. We then had up-and-coming illustrators give visual expression to these creators' ideas. Finally, the creators and Ricoh researchers participated in conversation with one another, inspiring new heights of imagination as the two kinds of creative minds came together.
Ricoh continues to change the ways in which we work. Transforming the world through collective imagination—imagine. change.—that is the core of the Ricoh brand.
