1. About this Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is to ensure that you understand the type of information acquired, the use of such information, the purpose of this use and the methods used by Ricoh Company, Ltd. (“RICOH”) for handling your data in “Ricoh Support Station” (“Software”), a software provided by RICOH.
2. Management of Personal Data
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
RICOH implements appropriate safety management measures to laws and regulations, guidelines and internal regulations of RICOH to prevent leaking, loss, destruction, etc. of Personal Data, and works to protect Personal Data retained by RICOH. RICOH also trains its employees on appropriate handling of Personal Data, etc. and works to fully ensure the protection of Personal Data.
3. Personal Data Used in the Software
RICOH does not collect, store or transmit any of your Personal Data.
Only when you link the Software to Google Drive ("Google Drive"), a cloud-based storage service provided by Google LLC (“Google”) headquartered at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, the United States, the Software will access the following your data ("Google User Data") through Google API Services provided by Google and use Google User Data as follows.

Google User Data accessed by the Software will remain to be stored locally on your device and not be collected or stored by RICOH or shared with RICOH.
The Software's use of Google User Data received from Google API Services will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Provision of Personal Data to a Third Party
As RICOH collects no Personal Data, RICOH will not provide your Personal Data to any third parties.
5. Use of Information Collection Module
If you have understood the Clause 9 of the “SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT” of the Software (“EULA”) and placed a check mark to the box “If you have understood and agree to the acquisition and use of your “Usage Data” by Ricoh (see the Clause 9 of the EULA), please check this box” on the screen of the Software, RICOH acquires and uses your “Usage Data” as defined below (1) to assist RICOH and its authorized representatives in supporting you and servicing the Software, by using the “Information Collection Module” as defined below (2).
(1) “Usage Data” means the following data:(a) your unique ID of the Software;
(b) OS version of your device on which the Software is installed;
(c) the type of your device on which the Software is installed;
(d) printer model register in the Software;
(e) usage country or region selected in the Software;
(f) how many times each button of the Software was pressed;
(g) how many times each screen of the Software was displayed and how long it was displayed; and
(h) crash report when the Software failure occurs.
(2) “Information Collection Module” means the following module, a web analytics service provided by Google:
(a) Google Analytics for Firebase; and
(b) Firebase Crashlytics.
Usage Data is disclosed to and processed by Google in the manner contemplated by the Information Collection Module.
Google Analytics for Firebase uses Cookies, which are text files placed on users’ devices, to help the analyze how users use the Software. The information generated by the Cookie about the use of the Software (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union and for other parties to the agreement in the EEA. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our Software on RICOH’s behalf, compiling reports for RICOH and providing RICOH with other services relating to services activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of Cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on the Software. However, in that case, it may not be possible to use the full functionality of the Software.

The Software uses the modules provided by Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”) headquartered at One Microsoft Way Redmond, Washington 98052-7329, the United States, and the names of the modules used and the applicable conditions are as follows.

6. Handling of information on linked Website
This Software links to RICOH’s website. In RICOH’s website, there are links to the websites of third party companies ("Third Parties’ Websites") to improve convenience for you. Accessing these links may take you away from RICOH's website. Although RICOH may be displayed on some parts of Third Parties’ Websites, RICOH is not involved in the content posted on Third Parties’ Websites and does not accept responsibility for such website's handling of information.
RICOH’s website and Third Parties’ Websites may issue cookies, gather data or gather information according to their own policies. As for the handling of information on RICOH’s website or Third Parties’ Websites, this Policy does not apply, and such website’s policies apply. Therefore, in the event that you access RICOH’s website or Third Parties’ Websites, RICOH recommends that you read the policies of such websites relating to protection of information including Personal Data before providing information.
7. Request to Underage Users
In the event that underage users provide Personal Data to RICOH in connection with this Software, RICOH requests that Personal Data is provided with the consent of a caregiver. However, in the United States, this Software cannot be used by persons under 13 years of age. Personal Data therefore cannot be provided by such persons even with the consent of a caregiver. If it becomes known to RICOH that Personal Data has been provided by a child under 13 years of age, such Personal Data and child's account will be deleted immediately.
8. Amendments
RICOH may update this Policy in response to changes to or improvements of the purposes of use, improvement of safety, or according to revisions of related laws, regulations and rules. Therefore, RICOH recommends to periodically check this Policy on RICOH’s website.
