The actual number of page yield will vary depending on;

In the test procedure for Black and White cartridges (ISO/IEC 19752) a standard test page is used. The toner coverage of this page is 5%.
This A4 page is continuously printed until the cartridge reaches end of life.
In the test procedure for Colour cartridges (ISO/ IEC 19798 and 24711) a set of 5 different standard pages is used.
Represent approximately 20% coverage (approximately 5% each for black and the three colors - cyan, magenta, and yellow).
