Infomation Ricoh Celebrates International Women's Day 2025, Honoring Women's Achievements and Contributions

TOKYO, March 26, 2025 – Ricoh proudly joins the global call to celebrate and elevate women's achievements, reinforcing our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to grow, lead, and succeed.

International Women's Day is a global day, marked annually on March 8, celebrating all women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and raising awareness for accelerating gender parity. Inclusivity is not just an initiative at Ricoh—it is deeply connected to our founding philosophy, the Spirit of Three Loves: “Love your neighbor, Love your country, Love your work.” By embracing these values, we are building a workplace that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and drives business success.

As we reflect on our journey, we recognize our progress while acknowledging that there is still work to do, particularly in increasing representation at leadership levels and ensuring that all employees feel a true sense of belonging. This year, Ricoh teams worldwide celebrated International Women's Day, shared best practices, and committed to meaningful actions that drive sustainable change.

Akira Oyama, President & CEO of Ricoh Company, Ltd., said, “We have committed to driving gender representation not only because it's the right thing to do but also because it's a strategic necessity. In an increasingly competitive and dynamic world, we must ensure that everybody, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities to lead, contribute, and succeed. Let's hold ourselves accountable for creating a more inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment for all.”

Going beyond representation—Ricoh is committed to creating an environment where women feel supported, heard, and empowered to lead.

Through our Global DEI Council, leadership programs, and mentorship initiatives, we are working together—across all levels of the organization—to accelerate action and build a workplace where everyone can succeed.
