Do you have troubles now procuring parts or materials due to the earthquake? |
A1. |
We don’t have big problem now. However, looking ahead, we still find much uncertainty when rolling blackouts happen and our suppliers are affected. |

How can Ricoh increase sales in the Japan market by 3% this fiscal year amid uncertainty due to impact of the earthquake? |
A2. |
We think Japan market will not see a large decline over the entire year. We believe Ricoh can achieve this figure including the contribution from new businesses. |

How can Ricoh achieve the high growth in sales overseas without forex impact? |
A3. |
We will achieve it by increasing market share adding to market recovery in Americas and Europe. We believe the new products which we launched recently, must contribute. |

How can Ricoh increase profit in the Americas? |

We will be generating profit by sales increase and implementation of structural reform. |

After the earthquake, is there any possibility that Ricoh review the production system of toner on a global basis? |

If the distribution of electricity becomes seriously unreliable, we will have to consider increasing the production of toner overseas. For the time being, we are committed to lessen the impact of blackouts as much as possible. |
