[Question] What size are [3:2F], [1:1F], and [16:9F] images?

[3:2F] means 3:2 aspect ratio.
[1:1F] means 1:1 aspect ratio.
[16:9F] means 16:9 aspect ratio.
Depending on the aspect ratio, a black border is added to the top and bottom, or to the left and right of the image in the screen.

Example:
[9M] [3:2F] image

Image size is [9M] 3:2 (3468 x 2432), picture quality is Fine (F).
Shooting at this size gives you the same sized shooting frame as 35 mm film cameras.
When the image size is set to[9M][3:2F], a black border is added to the top and bottom of the image in the picture display in accordance with the shooting range.

Example:[7M][1:1F] image

Image size is
[7M] 1:1 (2736 x 2736), picture quality is Fine (F).
Shooting at this size gives you the square frame like medium-sized film cameras with 6x6cm (1:1 / square).
When the image size is set to
[7M] [1:1F], a black border is added to the left and right of the image in the picture display in accordance with the shooting range.

Example: [7M] [16:9F] image

Image size is
[7M] 16:9 (3648 x 2048), picture quality is Fine (F).
This size will be useful when viewing pictures in a TV screen with 16:9 aspect ratio.
When the image size is set to
[7M] [16:9F], a black border is added to the top and bottom of the image in the picture display in accordance with the shooting range.

Any image size other than above will have 4:3 in aspect ratio.
This will be suitable for use on a general personal computer monitor or in conventional TV monitor (apart from High Definition television / HDTV.)
Example:
[10M] [3:4F] image
