What is RICOH Quick Signage?

An app that allows you to display signage using a Ricoh projector by simply selecting photos for an iPhone or iPad.
Examples of Usage Situations
  • Instantaneously project event images to replay those special moments
  • Advertise today's fresh menu with vibrant photos
  • Snap photos and share images of apparel fittings for instant review

How to Use

Preparing the Projector

  • Select "Network Standby Mode" and then confirm the SSID.
  • Confirm that there is an ad-hoc connection.
  • Insert a USB memory device into the projector.

  • Select the SSID confirmed above in the network settings of the iPhone or iPad.
  • Open the "RICOH Quick Signage" app and follow the steps below.

Operating Environment

Hardware Apple iPad (4th generation), iPad mini (1st generation) / iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th generation)
OS iOS6.0, iOS6.1, iOS7.0
* Operation is not guaranteed for a version earlier than iOS 6.0.
Network Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) - IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n (Compliant with the Wi-Fi connection environment of iPad/iPhone)
* Connect the iPad/iPhone and projector via an ad-hoc connection.
Supported projectors RICOH PJ WX4141NI/WX4141N (Ultra short throw models)
RICOH PJ WX4240N (Short throw models)
RICOH PJ WX3340N/X3340N (Desk edge models)
* The firmware may need to be updated from that at the time of purchase. Download a Quick Signage compatible version from "Downloads" on the Ricoh website, and then update the version.
Image formats
  • Images that have the above extensions and can be displayed in iOS.*
* Images of 2 x 2 to 2,024 x 2,024 (pixels) saved to the iPhone or iPad are supported.
