Ricoh has completed a 100% eco-power installation for its electronic billboard set on the roof of the San-ai Dream Center Building at Ginza 4-chome crossing in Tokyo. The switching of the power source of the billboard to private power generation using solar and wind power which began in July is now completed.
Ricoh is switching the power source of its billboard installed on the roof of the San-ai Dream Center Building at the Ginza 4-chome crossing in Tokyo to private power generation by solar and wind power, making it a 100% eco-powered electronic billboard. Completion is scheduled for the end of August 2014.
This is another milestone in Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd while Vincent Lim, Managing Director of Ricoh Singapore, received the Merit Award for the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) – Kimberly-Clark Singapore Environmental Achievement Award (Services) on behalf of Ricoh Asia Pacific on 21st August.
Ricoh today announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named Ricoh Americas Corporation a 2014 ENERGY STAR Award winner for Excellence in Energy Efficient Product Design for its outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by designing energy-efficient products and educating consumers about energy efficiency. Ricoh’s accomplishments will be recognized in Washington, D.C. on April 29, 2014.
