The Ricoh Group develops various types of work experience programs, taking advantage of the diversity in our offices and group companies. Examples include: a work experience program for elementary school children (Ricoh Elemex Corporation), a program to experience IT (Ricoh Technosystems Co., Ltd.), and a scientific experiment class (Ricoh Atsugi Plant).

•Work experience programs for junior high school students
Ricoh Technosystems Co., Ltd., Ricoh Atsugi Plant, Software R&D Group, and Ricoh Microelectronics Co., Ltd. offer work experience programs for junior high schools located near the sites. Students learn the value of work through practical experience, in such diverse areas as copier assembly and customer service.

•Work experience programs for schools for the disabled
Ricoh Unitechno Co., Ltd. regularly accepts students from schools for the disabled for practical training, to help them lead confident independent lives through this program. In fiscal 2007, we accepted two students to experience assembly of parts for wide-format copiers under the guidance of Ricoh employees.
