Microcontroller Supervisory IC Application Note

Voltage Detectors have two output types of Nch. open drain and CMOS. If the supply voltage of the voltage detector and microcontroller is the same, the connection can be selected with the CMOS output. However, if the supply voltage is different, the connection should be selected using the Nch. open drain output. When making connection, the output pin should be pulled up to the supply voltage of the microcontroller.
