R5C833 Specifications
The R5C833 is a single chip solution offering five PCI functions (a PCI bus bridge to an IEEE1394, an SD Card, a MultiMediaCard, a Memory Stick, and an xD Picture Card). Almost all the Flash Memory Cards currently in the market, allowing system designers to flexibly configure systems necessary to interface with multiple Flash Memory Cards.
The R5C833 uses an internal PLL for the high speed Media clock and it is yielding the high performance.
Pin-out compatible with the R5C832 .

Specializing in supporting only Flash Memory Cards, the R5C833 comes in smaller package (128-pin TQFP), compared with our existing products (the R5C841/842). The R5C833 is ideal for devices that require miniaturization.
High Performance
The R5C833 uses an internal PLL for the high speed Media clock. and it is yielding the high performance.
Low Power Consumption
Due to the originally developed hardware design, power consumption during Suspend mode has been drastically reduced.
SD Card/SDIO/MMC Automatic Configuration
The R5C833 supports SD/SDIO/MMC automatic configuration functionality, which makes it possible to support SD/SDIO/MMC in the same slot by use of RICOH's dedicated MMC driver.
Internal Regulator
The internal regulator allows 3.3V single power operation.
