The R5C807 is a single chip solution offering a high-performance bridge function between Flash Memory Cards and Host Interface such as universal memory bus.
The R5C807 supports almost all the Flash Memory Cards currently in the market: Compact Flash, SD Card, MultiMediaCard(MMC), Memory Stick, xD Picture Card and Smart Media. Adopting a universal memory bus interface, the R5C807 is ideal for embedded devices.

Connected to a universal memory bus, the R5C807 can be used for various types of embedded devices, regardless of operating systems.

Select function for Interface mode

The interface mode can be selected by simply setting external pins. The R5C807 can flexibly interface with various kinds of Host systems.

Low Power Consumption

Due to the originally developed hardware design, power consumption during Suspend mode has been drastically reduced.

Internal Regulator

The internal regulator allows 3.3V single power operation.
